My 86 year old neighbour used to work here in his teenage years. He can tell you endless stories about this first gaybar of Amsterdam, founded by Bet van Beeren. Just pop in and be amazed by the dazzling interior of the tiny bar. The downside is that you can bump into a guided group of over enthusiastic babbling tourists. But you can act as a local who hangs out there regularly.
