Ruk en Pluk

My nights in café Ruk en Pluk always ended up in a surreal state of mind. Was it coincidence, or was it this crazy bar flipping my mind?

You definitively have to find out by yourself. This old fashioned Dutch 'bruincafé' has not changed in years. But it is so much more than just an old fashioned café. The ceiling is covered in bright multi-colored foil. Blinking lights, clowns & dolls and other theatrical props are creating a dazzling setting. Glitter and glamour. Combined with the staff who have more bar experience then my grandmother, it creates at atmosphere which attracts all kinds of plume. The local seniors, students, hipsters, artists, or birds of paradise.

The bar ladies know how to rule the place. They even serve free herring when you're lucky.
